NHL Power Plays 3/27/18

We’ve got a nine game slate tonight with a lot of moving parts.  There are FIVE teams not only playing on a back to back, but they are also playing their third game in four nights and also their fourth game in six nights.  With the season coming down to the wire here and teams getting eliminated from playoff contention, we can look for teams to start giving younger guys more opportunities.  And likewise, for the teams that have sewn up good seeds for the playoffs as they try to rest their stars.  let’s get into the slate tonight and see if we can find a couple plays for ya.  Good Luck FamVice!

When you are making you teams I can’t stress enough that you need to make sure your goalie is actually confirmed and starting.  Sites like Dailyfaceoff.com, Leftwinglock.com, and Goaliepost.com are great places for information.  Another great place to get up to the minute news and information, is the teams beat writers.  I have created a list on Twitter @Votts_DFS  for all of the NHL teams, and a separate list of all the beat writers for you to follow, it’s a great tool and a necessity.  The advanced stats that I use and reference in this article come from Corsica.hockey and also naturalstattrick.com.
