CENTERS

Connor McDavid – EDM vs TOR – $8,700

McDavid has been playing some phenomenal hockey lately.  He’s riding a five game point streak, and has TEN points in those five.  Toronto is giving up a ridiculous amount of shots per game at just a hair under 36.  They are also giving up the third most goals per game at 3.19 per contest.  This game could be a shootout with points everywhere, and could make for a great game stack.

Ryan Johansen – NSH vs COL – $6,000

Johansen has five points in his last three games and looks to be in a good spot tonight.  He’s not afraid to shoot the puck when he has the opportunity as he already has three games with five or more shots on net.  Johansen also leads the Preds with eight power play points playing in the top line and attacking the penalty kill of the Avalanche seems like an obvious spot when you dig in a little deeper. Colorado is the fifth most penalized team in the league and they have the fourth worst penalty kill only killing off 77.8% of their penalties.

Austin Matthews – TOR vs EDM – $6,800

Matthews has been coming into form lately and has four points in his last two games. Matthews also leads his team in power play points, and even though the Oilers penalty kill has been great, they can be had.  Toronto shoots the puck a ton and they play a fast game, this game should be back and forth with plenty of chances.

Logan Couture – SJ vs ARI – $6,500

Many people will be on the sharks tonight and they will probably be stacking the top line of Joe Pavelski and Joe Thornton alongside Brent Burns.  Couture should be loess owned as he plays on the second line at even strength, but he also plays on the top power play unit.  I love the sharks tonight, but they will be massively owned and I think a one off of Couture is a great play. You could also stack him with a defenseman like Burns if you wanted too.

Mikko Koivu – MIN vs VAN – $4,400

Koivu has showed some life with a four game point streak and one multi point game in that streak.  He saves you some much needed salary tonight to pay up for the studs in great spot as he matches up against the Canucks tonight, who In November, rank second to last in goals against per game, giving up 3.23 on average in almost 30 shots a game.

Nick Cousins – PHI VS BOS – $3,900

Yes, Fantasy Shane’s buddy, Nick cousins is starting to wear on me.  He saves you some cap space tonight where it’s key, and he is also getting more opportunities with Sean Couturier out with an injury.  He is playing on the second line and also the second power play unit.  Although the matchup is not ideal against the Bruins team, he should still get some decent opportunities tonight as the Bruins are still without Zdeno Chara.  Salary relief is needed tonight and I don’t mind Cousins tonight.

WINGERS

Joe Pavelski- SJ vs ARI -$7,400

Pavelski will be super chalk tonight but for good reason.  He’s logging about 20 minutes of ice time per game on the top line and the top powerplay unit, and is currently riding a six game point streak. Pavelski is a gifted athlete, he’s  got a hounds nose for the net, and he’s not afraid to shoot the puck.  Arizona has played a little better, but that’s not saying much.  They are still playing wide open, and their defense is pretty putrid.  Pavelski is in a prime spot tonight.

Mike Cammalleri – NJ vs WPG – $6,000

Cammalleri took some time off for personal reason and has came back with a vengeance.  His three games coming back he has multiple points in each game.  The Devils needed someone to step up when Taylor Hall went down with and injury, and Cammalleri looks to be the guy to fill his shoes.  Winnipeg is dealing with some injuries, and it’s starting to show in the goals allowed department also.  They are the fifth worst team giving up 2.93 goals per game.  The jets are also the second most penalized team in November and they have a bad penalty kill. They are the eighth worst penalty kill with an 80% kill rate. Look for Cammalleri to keep lighting the lamp tonight.

Richard Rakell – ANH vs MTL – $6,100

Since Rakell has been moved up to the top line he’s lit the lamp every game except one. He’s got four goals in his last five games.  When you get to play alongside Corey Perry, and Ryan Getzlaf you get a ton of prime opportunities because they open the ice up and demand more attention due to their elite skill.  Rakell doesn’t play on the man advantage with them but he does play on the second power play unit.  Montreal is a fast rough team that can control the puck half decently, but their penalty kill is weak.  They are the fifth worst team with a 79.2% kill rate.

Henrik Zetterberg – DET vs DAL – $5,400

Zetterberg has been pretty inconsistent this year but he’s in a good spot tonight.  He mans the top line for the wings and also the top power play unit with 14 points on the year.  Dallas has been absolutely putred on defense this year allowing the most goals per game in the league in November, giving up 3.33 goals per game.  This seems like get right game and the Wings could pile it on tonight. I don’t mind a little Wings stack either, maybe roll out Zetterberg with Thomas Tatar – $4,600 and Anthony Mantha- $3,800 as they are paired on even strength and the power play.

Artemi Panerin – CHI vs FLA – $7,100

The bread man is riding a three game point streak and I think he should be able to keep it going tonight against a Panthers team in disarray. They fired their coach Gerard Gallant for what appears to be a GM head coach spat.  Florida has battled injuries all year and honestly I think they have overachieved. They are a middle of the pack team that’s not great, but they’re not horrible either.  With all the commotion going on with the organization, it could either derail the team or make them stronger, but facing the Hawks in their first game with their new head coach is a monumental task.  The Hawks top line should be all over tonight pressuring and peppering Roberto Luango, and usually the Hawks have Luango’s number.

Anthony Mantha – DET vs DAL – $3,800

Mantha has played seven games with the Wings now and has four points, and he is averaging about four shots on net per game.  He’s playing on the top line and the top power play unit also.  That’s a huge bargain at his price tag.  The kid is a monster and he loves the be in front of the net screening the goalie and grinding away.  He’s in a great spot tonight against the Stars who are giving up 3.33 goals per game, and have stretches of extremely poor hockey.  Mantha is a great bargain tonight, I’ll have a lot of exposure to him.

DEFENSEMAN

Brent Burns – SJ vs ARI – $8,500

Burns is in a great spot again tonight against the wide open Coyotes. He’s been a little inconsistent lately but I think it could have had something to do with his contract negotiations. Now that his contract negotiations are done and over, he said he is only focused on helping the Sharks win.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see a bug game out of Burns tonight with a bunch if shots, but He will carry some ownership tonight so temper your exposure.

Roman Josi – NSH vs COL $6,500

If your oooking for a swerve from Burns you could look to Josi.  Colorado is in the bottom 10 in goals allowed per game and they are the sixth worst penalty kill team with a 78.4 kill rate.  Josi mans the top power play unit and has a knack for bombing away from the point.  Look for Josi to make a mark on the scoresheet tonight, whether it be a goal or an assist.

Oscar Klefbom – EDM vs MTL – $5,300

Klefbom has five points in his last six games, and seems to have found a little offense.  He logs a decent amount of ice time and also plays on the top power play unit for the Oilers.  Toronto gives up a lot of shots and I think Klefbom gets involved tonight. This game could be a shootout and their should be plenty of points flowing.

Torey Krug – BOS vs PHI – $5,200

Krug is coming off a two assist game and gets to take on the Flyers tonight who are tied with Dallas for giving up the most amount of goals in the league, giving up 3.33 goals per game.  He also mans the blue line on the top power play line.  Philly tends to leave the points open because they are usually deep in their defensive zone, and that could help Krug with a couple extra shots from the point.

GOALIES

Corey Crawford – CHI vs FLA – $8,100

Crawford has been stout at home this season with a 1.87 GAA and .939 SV% on home ice this season, and tonight should get the W.  He faces a Florida team that just fired their coach and could be in a tailspin.

Henrik Lundqvist – NYR vs CAR – $8,600

Lundqvist looks for revenge tonight as he lost their first meeting against Carolina, but Vegas thinks there is pretty much no chance the Rangers lose this game as a -200 favorite.  Lundqvist has a 2.53 GAA and .909 SV% on home-ice this season, he should face a decent amount of shots too.
