NFL FanDuel Value Plays Week 12

Let’s find some low-cost value plays at each position so you can mix/match your lineups to take down your tournaments this week. Value here are represented by $6,900 or less for quarterbacks, $6,500 or less for running backs/wide receivers, $5,500 or less on tight ends, $4,500 for kicker and $4,500 and lower for defenses.

We are looking at Sun-Mon slate only, so if you have any questions, hit me up in the Comments Area or reach out to me on Twitter @JasonWalkerDFS.

Quarterbacks:

Ryan Fitzpatrick – NYJ vs. NE – $6,800 – I guess give me some FitzMagic against the 27th ranked defensive DVOA Patriots. Fitzpatrick has been ok, I guess, and the game will call for him to throw, though one assumes that Bill Belichick will have the clamps on top end WR Brandon Marshall.

Running Backs:

Devontae Booker – DEN vs. KC – $6,300 – Too low a price for a RB1 that is the unquestioned backfield guy. Sure, the Broncos tried to claim Ronnie Hillman off waivers, but they weren’t successful, so Booker and his grip on 80% of the tailback snaps for the Broncos is a good play against the Chiefs. Kansas City is 26th in the league in adjusted line yards and 21st overall and the Broncos are at home, making things even better for Booker.

Kenneth Dixon – BAL vs. CIN – $5,000 – Dixon has slowly been closing in on Terrance West in terms of snap count, going from eight to seven to two fewer snaps over the past three weeks. The Bengals are 26th against the run this season, so it would not surprise me to see a breakout game from Dixon this week, overtaking West as the RB1 in Baltimore.

Dion Lewis – NE at NYJ – $4,900 – He came back and split the pass-catching RB snaps with James White and delivered a solid game. The Patriots will want to keep ramping him up towards the playoffs, so being more involved in a game that will likely feature more passing against dare-you-to-throw Jets is a sneaky play.

Jeremy Hill – CIN at BAL – $5,900 – Baltimore is the toughest run defense in the league, but with Giovani Bernard out and Hill left holding the significant RB1 bag for the Bengals, he warrants mention here for a potential 20 touch running back for less than 6K.

Wide Receivers:

Julian Edelman – NE at NYJ – $6,400 – Last round in the value space for Edelman, who is fully back as the top target, especially with Rob Gronkowski ailing. Edelman had 17 targets in Week 11 and now faces the Jets, who are ranked 30th against the pass this season.

Tyler Boyd – CIN at BAL – $5,600 – Because the Ravens are the best against the run, Cincinnati will likely have to throw and Boyd, who has the best individual matchup of the Bengals receivers this week, already showed the potential to step up with A.J. Green out. His Week 11 totals were solid: Eight targets, six catches and a touchdown.

Quincy Enunwa – NYJ vs. NE – $4,900 – With the Patriots likely to lock down Brandon Marshall this week Enunwa, matchup with Logon Ryan, should be the main target among the receivers for Fitzpatrick. His catches haven’t been there, but he plays most of the snaps, and had six targets last week against the Rams.

Michael Thomas – NO vs. LA – $6,400 – It is amazing to get, essentially, the Saints WR1 in the value area, but the Rams have been stingy defensively, rendering this game a mere 45.5 total, extremely low for the Superdome. Thomas has the plum matchup against Rams CB E.J. Gaines and I think the coast is clear to think that Drew Brees will be alright against the Rams at home.

Tight Ends:

C.J. Fiedorowicz – HOU vs. SD – $5,200 – CJ has become a safe space for beleaguered QB Brock Osweiler, registering 36 targets over the past five weeks, catching 25 of those, including an 82 yard effort against Oakland last week.

Gary Barnidge – CLE vs. NYG – $4,800 – The last two games Josh McCown threw more than 20 passes, Barnidge had seven and five targets, so it is a reasonable assumption that, with McCown back this week against the Giants, Barnidge will see an uptick in attention against a team that is 24th in defensive efficiency against the tight end position.

Kickers and Defense:

New Orleans Saints vs. Los Angeles Rams – $4,300 – At home in the Superdome, the Saints are seventh in defensive turnovers per drive and they are facing off in the second start of the Jared Goff era for the Rams. Ok!

Dan Carpenter – BUF vs. JAC – $4,500 – At home as a huge favorite, the Bills also have the highest expected team total for any min price kicker on the board this week.

Good luck this week! – JW
