Championship weekend is here which means we are down to the final four teams, and we get to see who will represent each conference in the Super Bowl. We have a two-game slate to attack which is not the best in terms of options and edge, but we will still break down what we are looking at and how we plan to build lineups.

Jaguars at Patriots – Patriots -8, O/U 41

AFC Game is first with the Jags traveling up to Foxboro to take on the Patriots. As much as I and everyone else love to knock this Jacksonville team and specifically Bortles they have gotten the job done in recent weeks and are 1 game away from a Super Bowl. I do not think that Bortles will be able to get by with another mediocre game managing type performance, but it does start with him not turning the ball over and he has been better with that so far in the playoffs. On the Patriots side they have weapons all over the field and assuming Brady’s hand is okay it will be an interesting chess match between that offense and the Jags top rated D.

Vikings at Eagles – Vikings -3.5, O/U 45.5

Vikings fresh off a miracle travel east to Philly to get the #1 seed Eagles who have been treated like an underdog the entire playoffs. Last week the Eagles were home dogs to ATL, but survived thanks to a good showing by the defense and Foles doing just enough to get by. This is another game where you expect both teams to lean on these top defenses and hope that their QB’s and offenses just limit mistakes and make a few plays here and there.

With two games it is tough to make recommendations on specific plays because you end up talking about half the player pool which does not help anyone. I am just going to briefly talk about each position and a few guys that I’m interested in. Most of the lineups on two games are stacks in some fashion since we only have 4 teams to choose from so try and correlate your teams in a way that makes sense. I would recommend trying to take a stand or two on each to try and be unique and do not be afraid to leave salary on the table in a week like this.

Before we jump into the plays, let’s take a look at some relevant stats for this week. Here is some of the information I use to guide my research each week including the Super Premium Pro Football Focus defense efficiency rankings. ~ Ben
