NBA Thoughts 2/25/17

Most of tonight’s teams are on back-to-backs which means pricing shouldn’t change all that much. Yesterday gave us a good understanding of how these teams are going to treat their rotations after the trade deadline. Although pricing seems pretty tough tonight, there are some players that are still too cheap and provide value. I’ll go over some of these guys and show what the optimal roster construction looks like. Let’s get to it!

Cheapies

Teams like the Nuggets and Nets played every player on their roster yesterday which is a good indication of how teams are approaching this second half. Younger players will be a priority for coaches. Many teams want to see what they have heading into next season and this is a perfect time to do that. It’s also worth noting that due to the tough pricing on DraftKings, “value” today is the $4k-$5k range. This is making the ‘balanced’ lineup a little more viable tonight. Here are some “cheapies” I’m looking to roster tonight.

Guys that make it happen

Using the guys above can free up some space to roster one or maybe two studs tonight. There are a few that are in great spots barring a blowout. Here are the studs I’m prioritizing in my lineups tonight.

Most of my lineups have a combination of these two charts. All these guys should see a nice workload and are great per minute producers. Not only will these guys give you a solid floor, they have the upside due to their pricing.

As always, feel free to message me on Twitter (@MLora). I’ll also be in the premium slack chat leading up to lock. I hope everyone has a great Saturday and a profitable one at that. Till next time, party animals!
