NBA Bargains 11/30/2016
Tonight we have ten games on the main slate tipping off at 7:00pm ET and then it looks like the bigger sites will have short slate contests at 7:30pm, 8:00pm and 9:00pm. There is plenty of decent value available today, so we will hit the highlights.
As always, more information will be released by the teams closer to tip-off, but this should give us plenty of discounted options to work with in the meantime.
If you have any questions you can reach me on Twitter @EmacDFS or in the FanVice.com premium Slack channel.
Andrew Harrison – MEM at TOR – Vince Carter has been ruled out tonight and we know that Mike Conley will miss at least the next month and a half with a fractured vertebra. It would not be a surprise to see the Grizzlies bring in a veteran guard, but for now most of the point guard minutes will be absorbed by Andrew Harrison. He is at a low price point across the industry, but be wary as it will probably rise quickly and we need to keep expectations in check as he is shooting just over 27% from the field this season. He will be one of the most popular plays tonight, just keep an eye on that price tag over the next week.
Dennis Schroder – ATL at PHO – Since Friday November 18th, the Atlanta Hawks have played seven of their last eight games on the road including five straight that culminates tonight in a matchup in Phoenix against the Suns. While it can be tricky trusting players at the end of a long road trip, Schroder is young, basically the only trustworthy ball-handler on the club and in a great matchup tonight against Phoenix.
Sergio Rodriguez – PHI vs SAC – Jerryd Bayless has been ruled out tonight with his wrist injury so that means Rodriguez will see heavy minutes at the point and have the bonus of feeding Joel Embiid in the paint which should be worth three or four assists.
Tony Allen – MEM at TOR – The Grizzlies will be without Chandlers Parsons, James Ennis, Mike Conley, Vince Carter and likely Zach Randolph (personal). So there should be 30+ minutes available for the veteran swingman who qualifies at both shooting guard and small forward depending on your site of choice. He should see additional shot opportunities tonight with so many players out, which increases his upside potential.
Lou Williams and Jordan Clarkson – LAL at CHI – D’Angelo Russell will be out for at least another week and it looks like Nick Young may miss this game as well. That opens up a few extra minutes and more importantly shots for Sweet Look and JC.
Troy Williams – MEM at TOR – Williams is another of the many extreme discount options that should be able to easily outperform their low salaries tonight as even more of the Grizzlies understudies are pressed into prominent roles in the offense.
Glenn Robinson III – IND at POR – Particularly on FanDuel, Robinson is very discounted at $4,700 when considering that Paul George, C.J. Miles and Kevin Seraphin have already been ruled out. GR3 should see at least 35 minutes tonight and be in the mix for 25-30 fantasy points.
Matt Barnes – SAC at PHI – If Barnes is starting, he is a fine discount option. If the Kings go back to the double big man offense with DeMarcus Cousins and Kosta Koufos, then he is a hard pass.
Ed Davis – POR vs IND – With Al-Farouq Aminu still on the shelf, it looks like Ed Davis will continue to get the start. While the veteran does not have eye-popping numbers, he is a solid bargain option who should be good for 15-20 fantasy points with another 5-7 in available upside. He is $7,100 on FantasyDraft and $3,600 on FanDuel. While on DraftKings he is also $3,600, though listed as a center.
Taj Gibson – CHI vs LAL – Regardless of the status for Lakers power forward Julius Randle, this is a good matchup for Gibson who likes to play tough, hardnosed basketball and earn most of his fantasy points via rebounds and scoring in the paint.
JaMychal Green – MEM at TOR – Green has 20+ fantasy points in seven of his last eight games with the only stinker being in Charlotte on Monday night. He should see 30-35 minutes for the short-handed Grizzlies and is a solid discount option.
Robin Lopez – CHI at LAL – Lopez is continually overlooked by daily fantasy gamers, because he do not often put up 40+ fantasy point games. That is a mistake, because he is one of the more consistent centers in the league with his minutes and because his price is usually in a very reasonable place on the salary list. While his is cresting towards the higher end of where I like to play him, this is a good matchup and he can still hit 6x on most sites with a 30 fantasy point game and that is a reasonable target against this Lakers team that is just middle-of-the-pack from a fantasy perspective against opposing pivotmen.
